This year’s conference focused on women’s health, and 163 doctors from Iraq, Britain, Germany, Denmark, Australia, Canada, Iran, Lebanon, and Bahrain participated.

The conference participants presented 28 research papers distributed across four scientific sessions. The conference program also included two training workshops, the first on the use of hysteroscopy in the fields of treatment and diagnosis, and the second on the use of ultrasound in diagnostic biopsy of breast cancer.
The conference also included the signing of scientific cooperation agreements between the Iraqi association for Medical Research and Studies on one hand, and the Canadian Society for Drug Addiction Treatment, as well as the Iraqi Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology, in addition to the Al-Kawthar Center for Nuclear Medicine.
