The role of the Royal College of Psychiatriy in supporting mental health in Iraq was explained by Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Uzri, consultant psychiatrist and assistant medical director of the Lestershire Psychiatric Service at the British Health Agency NHS, as part of the activities of the 6th IAMRS International Conference that had been hold in Iraq at The seventh and eighth of October under the title

“The risks and challenges of Substance Related & Addictive Disorders in Iraq”

 

With a wide local, national, regional and international presence, he came out with practical decisions and put them at the disposal of the concerned authorities as a road map to rid the country of this dangerous issue
